Services
Annual Physical Exams
A physical examination helps your primary care provider (PCP) to determine the general status of your health. The exam is a chance to talk to them about any ongoing pain or symptoms that you’re experiencing. A physical examination is recommended yearly. These exams are used to:
Check for possible diseases so they can be treated early
Identify any issues that may become medical concerns in the future
Update necessary immunizations & screenings.
Telemedicine
Telemedicine involves the use of electronic communications and software to provide clinical services to patients without an in-person visit. Telemedicine technology is frequently used for follow-up visits, management of chronic conditions, medication management, specialist consultation and a host of other clinical services that can be provided remotely via secure audio connections.
Comprehensive Blood Work
Blood tests are used to measure or examine cells, chemicals, proteins, or other substances in the blood. Most blood work can be drawn in office.
Help diagnose certain diseases and conditions
Monitor a chronic disease or condition, such as diabetes or high cholesterol.
Check how well your organs are working. Your organs include your liver, kidneys, heart, and thyroid.
Find out if your immune system is having trouble fighting infections.
Immunization
Immunization is the process of becoming protected against a disease. But it can also mean the same thing as a vaccination, which is getting a vaccine to become protected against a disease.
Vaccines are important because they protect you against many diseases. These diseases can be very serious. So getting immunity from a vaccine is safer than getting immunity by being sick with the disease.
Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG)
An electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) is a simple, painless test that measures your heart’s electrical activity. It’s also known as an ECG/EKG. Heart problems often affect the electrical activity of your heart. Your doctor may recommend an ECG/EKG if you’re experiencing symptoms that may suggest a heart problem, including:
pain in your chest
trouble breathing
pounding, racing of your heart
unusual sounds when your doctor listens to your heart
Management of Acute and Chronic Conditions
Acute conditions are severe and sudden in onset. A chronic condition, by contrast is a long-developing syndrome, such as osteoporosis or asthma. For example, osteoporosis, a chronic condition, may cause a broken bone, an acute condition. An acute asthma attack occurs in the midst of the chronic disease of asthma. Acute conditions, such as a first asthma attack, may lead to a chronic syndrome if untreated.
